Disadvantage of Faux Fur fabric: 

The faux fur fabric tends to shed fibers, and when wet, the garment becomes heavy. To dry, it must be laid flat after gently wringing out excess water (without twisting), as hanging to dry may cause stretching or deformation due to gravity.

It’s normal for faux fur to clump after washing, especially in longer fibers, but this can be easily fixed by steaming or ironing. The fabric mimics the fluffiness of rabbit or mink fur but may still shed, especially when wet. Shedding can also be influenced by factors such as fiber length, knitting technique, and wash time. Softer fabrics shed more easily than stiffer ones. Please consider these factors before purchasing.
